This darling white mini-waled cotton
baby / doll bonnet is in excellent vintage condition.
Dating back to the 1950s, the bonnet
has an open buttoned back that closes with four dainty matching white buttons.  The bonnets also has matching cotton chin ties and a small brim that frames and shields the face.
The inside of bonnet is fully lined in a solid white, cotton fabric. Across the top of the bonnet above the brim are is a tiny button and buttonhole that can be unbuttoned if desired if baby’s head gets too warm. (See pix.)  So cute!
Bonnet is unmarked as to maker or size.
For reference, the doll’s head used to model the bonnet measures approximately 15″ in circumference when measured at the mid-point of her forehead and it fits her perfectly.
If you measure the bonnet at the back from the crown to the lower edge, the “drop” is approximately 5″.
Bonnet is in excellent vintage condition.  No rips, holes, or repairs. (See pix.) Such a sweet bonnet for baby or your favorite baby doll, or as a great addition to your bonnet collection.
